After a lengthy final table where the final four players battled for more than an hour with multiple lead changes and no eliminations, Aleksey Shaburov of Russia was declared the winner of Event 11 after a heads-up ICM chop with runner-up Aidan Hynes.

There were 349 entries in this six-max no-limit hold’em event, and the final 59 players finished in the money.

When asked about any key hands at the final table, Shaburov talked about the “roller coaster” nature of four-handed play, where each of the players had ups and down. As one example, Ci Zhou was chipleader for a while with four players left, but ultimately finished fourth.

This is Shaburov’s first time visiting Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood, and this is his second cash of the series so far. “I was running really bad in Las Vegas,” said Shaburov. “So here, with this, it’s just unbelievable. I’m a little bit tired, but the result is really good.”

Shaburov finished with some praise for the casino, saying, “This place is very comfortable. The personnel is very friendly. I really like it.”
