Chris Hinchcliffe

We had more than 200 entries in the flight during the first level and it continues to climb as we approach the afternoon hours. More players are taking their seats and even some traveling a long distance to play.

Chris Hinchcliffe is primarily known for his grind and success a couple thousand miles away in the California poker scene. He’s making his first SHRP appearance and brings a nice pedigree. Hinchcliffe has more than $1,000,000 in earnings in a career spanning more than a decade including a WPT final table appearance.

That final table was unique because 1) it played out on a cruise ship and 2) it had a Limit Hold’em format. It only ran for three years on the World Poker Tour and Hinchcliffe’s final table read like a poker superhero lineup with Daniel Negreanu, Erik Lindgren, Barry Greenstein, Scotty Nguyen, and Steve Zolotow and John Juanda was the final table bubble.

Not too shabby.

More recently, Hinchcliffe booked a win in the LA Poker Classic Kick-Off Event for more than $140,000.
