A short while later, Bobby Consolo moved all in from UTG+1 for about 1,000,000, and José Duarte moved all in over the top from the button for more than 2.5 million with QhQc.

Consolo turned over Ah10c, and he needed to improve to stay alive.

The board came 6d6s4s9h2d, and the pocket queens held up for Duarte to win the pot and eliminate Consolo in 14th place.

Bobby Consolo  –  Eliminated in 14th Place  ($11,125)

Consolo made a heck of a comeback today, bagging up 73K on Day 1, and then showing up two hours late because of a family emergency and arriving to less than two big blinds in his stack. But Consolo battled back, made it into the money, and just cashed for $11,125.

A few minutes later, after the blinds increased to 75K-150K, Duarte raised preflop to 350,000, and Craig Varnell called right behind him. Both players checked to the turn on a board of 8c5c4c9d, Duarte bet 600,000, and Varnell called.

The river card was the Jd, Duarte moved all in, and Varnell quickly folded. Duarte took the pot.

Craig Varnell  –  5,100,000  (34 bb)

At the same table, Kevin Blewitt appears to have more than 11 million in chips, though they are in tall towers so it’s difficult to get an exact count.
