Event 16 of the 2018 Lucky Hearts Poker Open was a $360 Black Chip Bounty NLH (Re-Entry) tournament. A total of 100 entries took part and generated a prize pool of $20,000. First place was set at $6,100, and emerging victorious outright was 32-year-old Brad Albrinck.

If that name seems familiar, it’s because Albrinck bagged the Day 1A chip lead of the $3,500 WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open Championship on Friday night. How did he spend his day off? By winning a trophy in Event 16.

“I’ve run pretty hot for two days straight, and it’s been a good trip,” Albrinck said after his win. “No doubt about that.”

Although players from Day 1B of the Championship event overtook Albrinck for the overall chip lead, he is still third in chips entering Day 2.

“It will be pretty fun to come in with a lot of chips, especially for such a big event, but for now the best thing for me is to get some sleep.”
