On Thursday, the 2019 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open kicked off with two big opening flights of Event 1 and a one-day Omaha 8 tournament with a familiar face taking the title.

Event 2 awarded the first trophy of the series and the four-card game had a $30,000 guaranteed prize pool attached for the first time. It slid past that number before registration close with 92 entries putting more than $31,000 up for grabs.

The last twelve places were paid and it was David Levi taking the top spot for his second career SHRP title after a seven-way deal. He has dozens of tournament wins to his credit and the $5,208 he earned was enough to push his career total over $4,000,000 in tournament earnings.
