Event 15 of the 2019 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open was a $2,200 Eight-Handed NLH (Single Re-Entry). The tournament carried a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool and a field of 211 entries more than doubled that amount, generating a prize pool of $422,000.

Predictably, the field was stacked with some of poker’s best. When all was said and done, it was Jonathan Little who emerged victorious with an outright victory for $97,160 and his first SHRP trophy.

“It’s good to win,” said Little afterward. “I’ve done a great job of getting 6th to 12th place over the last two years, so it’s good to get the win.”

Little has two WPT titles under his belt and was also the WPT Player of the Year in Season VI. This marked his second final table at the Seminole Hard Rock and he began tonight’s sixth in chips, but caught fire when it mattered most.

“I did not have a lot of chips throughout this tournament, but towards the end, I kinda got hit by the deck, won my all-ins, and now I’m the champion.”
