Mark Dube hit a hot streak at just the right time in Event 6, and he built up a sizable lead at the final table. The final six players agreed to a deal, and as chipleader, Dube was awarded the title, the trophy, and $18,040.

“I caught fire late,” said Dube, who entered the final table third in chips. “No one busted for a long time while we were nine-handed, and I was able to accumulate chips.”

Dube put himself in such a strong position that he successfully negotiated an additional $1,500 above the ICM-calculated payouts. These were the final chip counts for the final six players:

1.  Mark Dube  –  2,280,000
2.  John Paul Ode  –  1,495,000
3.  Raffaello Locatelli  –  1,330,000
4.  Marc Sacheli  –  790,000
5.  Justin Harvell  –  710,000
6.  Marsha Wolak  –  470,000

“It was a pretty stacked final table for this event,” said Dube. “I was happy to make the deal and happy to take the trophy.”

This is the third Seminole Hard Rock trophy for Dube, who won events on back-to-back days during the 2018 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open.

“I love it here,” said Dube. “I consider this my home casino, and I always come here for the big series.”
