$1,650 No-Limit Hold’em Purple Chip Bounty
Level 10: 300/600 with a 75 ante
Total Entries: 126

Jack Duong

Action folds around to the player in the small blind, who moves all in for about 10,000. Jack Duong calls in the small blind and the cards are tabled.

Duong shows Qd9s and needs to improve against his opponent’s Ah6h.

“I only called because of the bounty,” said Duong before the dealer runs out the board.

The board runs out 9c7d3s3hKd and Duong flops a nine to eliminate his opponent and pick up a $500 bounty.

Jack Duong – 63,000

Event 12: Jessica Dawley Eliminated By Stewart Newman

$1,650 No-Limit Hold’em Purple Chip Bounty (Re-Entry)
Level 8: 200/400 with a 50 ante
Total Entries: 124

Stewart Newman

Stewart Newman raises to 1,000 from under the gun and Jessica Dawley moves all in from the big blind for about 14,000. Newman quickly calls and the cards are tabled.

It’s a flip between the two Seminole Hard Rock Poker Team Members with Dawley showing AdKd against Newman’s 8s8c.

The flop is Js8d2s and Newman flops a set to leave Dawley drawing to runners. The turn is the As, leaving Dawley drawing dead. The river is the irrelevant 3c and she hits the rail while Newman drags the pot.

There is still just over an hour left before registration closes if Dawley decides to re-enter.

Stewart Newman – 39,500
Jessica Dawley – Eliminated

On a flop of 6d5s3c, Joey Weissman bets 2,500 out of the big blind and is called by the cutoff. The turn is the 8h and Weissman bets 5,000.

The cutoff quickly calls and the river is the 4s. Both players check and Weissman shows QcQs. The cutoff mucks his hand and Weissman drags the pot.
