Giuseppe Iadisernia

Giuseppe Iadisernia limped from early position and Josh Arieh followed suit from the small blind. David Peters checked his option in the big to the Jc8h7c flop.

Arieh and Peters checked, Iadisernia bet 5,500 (with 15,000 behind) and only Arieh came along to the 5s turn. Arieh checked, Iadisernia quickly tossed in his three 5K chips, and Arieh called after a short think.

Arieh: Th8c
Iadisernia: AdJs

Iadisernia was ahead with top pair and Arieh had nine outs for the KO but the Jd gave Iadisernia the double.

Giuseppe Iadisernia – 48,800 (24 bb)
Josh Arieh – 43,000 (22 bb)

Josh Arieh

Giuseppe Iadisernia limped from early position, Jake Schindler raised to 6,000 from the cutoff, and Josh Arieh moved all in from the small blind for 27,600.

Iadisernia flatted the shove and Schindler moved all in over the top for 120,200. Iadisernia had Schindler covered but elected to surrender his chips.

Arieh: JhTh
Schindler: AhKc

Arieh needed to catch his suited live cards to stay in the Super High Roller then hit the 6h5h4h. He needed to dodge another heart, the Jd turn was safe, and he had his double after the 4d river.

Josh Arieh – 91,000 (57 bb)
Jake Schindler – 92,500 (58 bb)
Giuseppe Iadisernia – 105,000 (66 bb)

Chance Kornuth moved his stack further ahead in back-to-back hands after the break.

On the first, he opened to 4,000 from the hijack to get calls from Kathy Lehne on the button, Jake Schindler in the small blind, and Dan Colman in the big.

Schindler and Colman checked the Jd9h3c flop and Kornuth bet 7,500. Lehne called, the other two released, and they both checked the 7s turn. Kornuth led out for 12,500 after the Qc river and Lehne called. Kornuth tabled AhJs and Lehne mucked to give him the pot.

On the next hand, Kornuth opened to 3,600 and was called by Giuseppe Iadisernia in the hijack, Lehen in the cutoff, and Josh Arieh in the big blind. Arieh checked the Kh7d3d flop, Kornuth bet 8,000 and everyone released their hand for another boost to his stack.

Chance Kornuth – 251,000 (157 bb)
Kathy Lehne – 143,000 (89 bb)

Kathy Lehne

Kathy Lehne was under the gun and Josh Arieh the button when they were heads up to a Qs8c7h flop. Lehne checked, Arieh bet 6,000 and Lehne called to the 2c turn.

Lehne led out for 12,000 and Arieh asked to see her stack. He tossed in three 25K chips, enough to cover Lehne, and she took her time to think it through. After a few minutes, Lehne stacked her remaining chips and moved them forward.

Lehne: KcQc
Arieh: AsTd

Lehne was way ahead with her top pair/flush draw and Arieh needed to catch a non-club ace for the knockout. The 3s was a blank and Lehne hit a big double up.

Kathy Lehne – 175,800 (147 bb)
Josh Arieh – 41,300 (34 bb)

Nick Schulman

The Super High Roller count clicked up by one over the last level. Two-time WSOP bracelet winner/WPT Champions Club member Nick Schulman popped his head in the meeting room, asked a few questions, then returned with a tournament ticket to the show.

Schulman does some poker commentary these days but he’s notstranger to big money events. He has 16 cashes of $100,000 or better with his biggest ($2.1 million) coming with his 2005 WPT win at Foxwoods.

Chance Kornuth

The Super High Rollers took a quick break after Level 3 to enjoy the food spread and catch a breather.

Seminole Hard Rock Poker team member Chance Kornuth made his way to the meeting room and began his day at the start of Level 4.

WSOP bracelet winner (and three-time Aria High Roller champ) Sam Soverel was also a late addition to the field. On top of his 2016 Pot Limit Omaha bracelet, Soverel conquered High Roller fields in the $25K, $50K, and $100K price range.

We also have a 14th player registered but they have yet to take their seat.

Rainer Kempe

The Super High Roller field is slowly building, as you would expect with a field of this caliber and buy-in. It tends to snowball bigger once more players take the seats and the stacks are less deep.

Rainer Kempe is back and we last saw him when he finished third in the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Super High Roller March. Dan Colman is another late entrant and he joins Jason Koon as former Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Champions.

After a short delay, the $50,000 Super High Roller is underway with players waiting until later in the day to get in the game.

Defending Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Champion Jason Koon was in the door early along with high roller monster Ike Haxton and CEO-plus-high roller Kathy Lehne.
