Level 9 is kicked off and registration is closed in Event 18 of the Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open, a $360 buy-in Seniors tournament. A total of 122 South Florida seniors turned out for the one-day event. The prize pool hit $36,600 and is slated to pay the to pay the top 16 finishers. A min-cash earns $714 while the tournament’s champion earns $10,615 and the property’s token guitar pick trophy.

Today we will be rolling out the final new events on the RRPO schedule and this morning we have a favorite. The Seniors Event kicks off at 10am in the Hard Rock Event Center and they will have a good time with it.

The Seniors Event has a $360 buy-in and it is limited to players 50 years and older. They will start with 12,000 stacks and all levels will last 30 minutes. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 2:30pm and the may re-enter as often as needed during that time. Dinner break is at 4pm and they will return to play down to the Seniors Event champion later this evening.
