2019 Fun in the Sun Recap

The 2019 Fun in the Sun Poker Open began Thursday, December 26th and concluded late in the evening on Monday, December 30th. In that time, five guitar trophies were awarded, highlighted by  Devond Marshall’s win in the $570 buy-in Main Event.

Event 5 of the 2019 Fun in the Sun was a $250 Deep Stack No-Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry). A field of 242 entries generated a prize pool of $50,820, easily surpassing the $30,000 guarantee.

A deal between the final seven players took place and as the chip leader, it was Alain Teffaud who earned the official victory and first-place payday of $6,779.
