The final 12 players will finish in the money, guaranteed at least $2,445 each, while the winner will receive $27,005, a SHRPO trophy, and a custom-framed winner’s photo courtesy of IMPDI.

We are closing out today’s schedule with a quick-stepping tournament in the Event Center. We have a $1,100 Turbo No Limit Hold’em game with eight-handed tables and freeze-out format.

They will receive 20,000 starting stacks and play snappy 15-minute levels all night long. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 9:15 pm but there are no re-entries allowed. One bullet per player.

It will be a great tournament to get us one step closer to Big 4 weekend.

Tournament Director Tony Burns and Super High Roller Champion Elio Fox

Event 14 of the 2019 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was the $50,000 Super High Roller (Single Re-Entry). The tournament drew 20 entries and had a prize pool of $1,000,000. The top four places paid and up top was $440,000 for the winner. Outlasting the field was Elio Fox, who emerged victorious for his second SHRP trophy.

In fact, it is Fox’s second Super High Roller victory here at the Seminole Hard Rock. At the 2018 SHRPO series, Fox earned top honors for $500,000, which was also the previous Super High Roller to take place here. So in essence, Fox successfully defended his title.

“It feels great,” Fox told us afterward. “It’s always wonderful to start out a trip doing well – makes it easier the rest of the way. ”

Fox enjoys the tough competition the Super High Roller events create and the chance to prove himself against some of the best players.

“It was a really tough tournament, and I love playing with the group of guys that was here. I play with them a lot, and I’m really happy to have won.”
