Yuval Bronshtein

The H.O.R.S.E. field was sent on the first break of the day and we have another great turnout. Following in the footsteps of yesterday’s Limit Omaha 8 tournament, Event 3 has already surpassed the count from last year even with the Freeze-Out format.

Yuval Bronshtein is back after winning the Event 2 trophy and trying to go two-for-two in two days. Nick Pupillo has plenty of success in his career, including three WSOP Circuit rings and two HPT titles, but still looking for his first non-NLH win. Pupillo bagged a top 20 stack yesterday for Event 1 so he’s taking a shot for a H.O.R.S.E. trophy today.

Event 3: Time to Mix

$400 H.O.R.S.E. (Freeze-Out)
Structure
Level 1:  50/100 Limits

The first weekend of the 2021 Lucky Hearts Poker Open has plenty of action for those who prefer something other than No Limit Hold’em. Today we have the return of the popular H.O.R.S.E. tournament which will test player’s skills across five different games.

The mix will run through Limit Hold’em, Limit Omaha 8, Razz, Seven-Card Stud, and Seven-Card Stud 8 switching it up every eight hands.

H.O.R.S.E. players will start with 12,000 stacks and all levels last 30 minutes in this one-day trophy event. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 4:30 pm but the Freeze-Out format means they have only one shot at the crown.

Action gets underway at noon and we will follow them along until we hand out our second trophy of the series.

  • Players begin with 12,000 in chips and 30-minute levels
  • Late registration until start of Level 9 (4:30pm)
