Michael Lim’s day started out on a downswing, but he bounced back by entering and winning Event #14, Pot-Limit Omaha 8, earning enough to cover his earlier losses.

“Usually I don’t play slots much,” said Lim. “But I got carried away today.”

While slots were unlucky for Lim, he downplayed his own skill in this PLO victory, and gave credit to his cards.

“I was getting all the cards,” said Lim. “Ace-deuce-three, ace-deuce-four-five. It wasn’t anything I did. They just held up.”

There was no deal, as Lim defeated Sterling Savill heads up when Lim’s made trip fours on a board with no possible lows.

“I had a great time, and I’m ecstatic that I’m even for the day.”
