Event 12 Day 1B: Triple Digits

The entrant count quickly jumped over 100 for the second flight and it’s becoming a start-studded affair. More big names are taking seats along with a solid group of regular Seminole Hard Rock Poker grinders.

Some of the latest entrants include Natasha Barbour, Ory Hen, Robert Campbell, Elliott Zaydman, Alfonso Perez, Jaron Ludemann, and Mike Beasley. David Diaz is back for another shot while three-time WSOP Circuit winner Nancy Birnbaum is making her first appearance this series.

The tables are quickly filling in with 91 players showing on the board as Level 1 moves along. A few regulars are back in action including Adam Rousse, Angel Vu, Carter Gill, and former November Niner John Dolan back for his second shot.

Also in action today is Angela Prada-Moed, runner-up in this summer’s WSOP Event 45, and cupcake shop owner. Always on a mission to keep the media desk happily stocked with baked goods.

Event 12 Day 1B: Second Flight Ready to Fly

It’s another big day in the ballroom with four events running throughout the day including the second flight of the $1,100 buy-in, $300,000 Guarantee, WTPDeepStacks event.

The first flight drew 170 entrants and it was packed with some top players and local regular. Just 23 players survived to bag chips with Cody Ferguson leaving with the lead.

Late registration and re-entry is available until the start of Level 10, after the dinner break, approximately 7:30 this evening. Tournament staff are reading the player instructions and cards will be flying very soon.

Event 10 Day 1F: Last Day

$150 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

It’s the final day for players to get a piece of the small buy-in, big prize pool action. The first of the final three flights of Event 10 is about to get underway with players looking at the possibility of some free money.

The $150 buy-in tournament has a healthy $150,000 guaranteed prize pool and 662 entrants have put up the money over the first five flights.

Players 12,000 stacks, 30-minute levels, and won’t stop until they bust out or make it through Level 14. The game will move quickly with the small price pushing the action.

Continuing the buy day in the ballroom, the fourth flight of the $150 buy-in, $150,000 Guarantee Event 10. This big field, added to the other events running, make for a very busy ballroom.

The first three flights drew 375 entrants and everyone is looking to join the 30 surviving 1A and 1B.

Players begin with 12,000 stacks and will play 30-minute levels throughout the day. Late registration or re-entry is available until the start of Level 7 and play will stop at the end of Level 14.

Players instructions are complete and cards are in the air.

Event 7: Double Bonus Poker

When two days just aren’t long enough, the final six players in Event 7 are back and looking for a champion. They were unable to play out to a winner early this morning, with plenty of drama along the way, so it will be a short-handed bonus day.

David Klein and Allan Bieler traded the lead through much of the late portions of Day 2. The two return with more than half the chips in play making them the ones to watch.

They will declare a winner this afternoon with one of these six set to earn more than $64,000 for the effort.
