A few minutes before the end of the level (and a 15-minute break), and after a flop of 9h8d3d, Claudangelo Beaudouin got it all in against Edwards Muñiz.

Edwards Muñiz:  AcJd4h3h2d  (pair of threes, jack-high flush draw, 8-3 low draw)
Claudangelo Beaudouin:  AhAdKsQc7d  (pair of aces, ace-high flush draw, 8-7 low draw)

Muñiz’s flush draw was drawing dead, and it looked likely to be a split pot.

The turn card was the 7h, clinching the low side of the pot for Muñiz with 8-7-3-2-A.

The river card was — the 3s.

Muñiz rivered trip threes to scoop the entire pot, eliminating Beaudouin in fourth place.

After a flop of 8d6c2d, the player in the small blind got it all in with QdJd for a diamond flush draw, and he needed to improve to stay alive against the KdKc of Vadim Rozin in late position.

The turn card was the Jh, giving the small blind additional outs with a pair of jacks, but the river card was the 7h. The pocket kings held up for Rozin to win the pot and eliminate his opponent from the tournament.

Vadim Rozin  –  420,000  (140 bb)

With about 125 players remaining, the average chip stack is about 149,000 (50 big blinds), and action will continue tonight until the end of this level, around 10:45 pm.

Steve Wilkie vs Raminder Singh
Raminder Singh (right) tanks for a while after Steve Wilkie (left) bet about half of Singh’s remaining stack on the turn.

With the board showing Jc8c2h7s on the turn and about 140K already in the pot, Raminder Singh thought for a while before he checked from the small blind, and then Steve Wilkie bet 70,000 from the hijack.

Singh went into the tank for with about 145K behind, at one point saying, “I’m not going to just call you. I only have two choices,” implying that he would either shove or fold.

After a couple of minutes, Singh apologized to the table for tanking so long, and told them that they could call for a clock with no hard feelings, but nobody did.

Shortly after that, Singh folded, and Wilkie showed 10s9c for a turned jack-high straight as he took the pot, which put him up near 500K.

Steve Wilkie  –  493,500  (165 bb)
Raminder Singh  –  145,000  (48 bb)

With about 140 players remaining, the average chip stack is about 133,000 (44 big blinds), and action will continue tonight until the end of Level 15, around 10:45 pm.

A player raised under the gun to 3,800, Joshua Poe reraised from middle position to 12,000, and Steve Karp cold four-bet from the cutoff to about 25,000.

The original raiser folded, and Poe five-bet all in for about 48,000.

Karp snap-called with AsAc, and Poe was visibly tilted as he turned over KhKc. Poe needed to improve to stay alive.

The board came Qh3c2d10d2h, and the pocket aces held up for Karp to win the pot and eliminate Poe from the tournament.
