Cody Ferguson (West Palm Beach, FL) is the chip leader thanks to a big hand against Cord Garcia (Katy, TX) before the last break.

The chips are all in on a flop of Ad 8d 4d with Ferguson holding Qd Jd against Garcia’s6d 3d.

“I got it in drawing dead,” laments Garcia who has the worse flush, “for a million blinds. Actually I had a backdoor straight flush draw.”

There were no miracles for Garcia who drops to 10k after shipping a 35k double-up to Ferguson.

Garcia finished in 4th place at the December, 2013 Winter Poker Open at Seminole Hard Rock Casino, Tampa, FL for $33,000, while Ferguson finished 4th place last week in Pompano Beach for $34,000.
