Level 9 is freshly underway in today’s 11am $360 Black Chip Bounty event. With that, registration is closed and the prize pool is final.

The event drew 159 entries generating a prize pool worth $31,800, plus a bounty prize pool of $15,900. The top 20 are set to finish in the money with a min-cash worth $445. Payouts escalate from there and top out in the form of an $8,548 first prize. In addition, the winner is slated to receive the property’s token guitar pick trophy.

After just under six hours of play, the 40-entry field in today’s $570 Pot Limit Omaha 8 Re-Entry tournament is down to 10 and at the unofficial final table. Sean Remz has a stranglehold on the action with a stack of 200,000 chips. The next closest holdings belong to Shawn Nguyen with 130,000. From there there’s a spattering of sub-75,000 stacks.

Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Poker Classic Begins February 20th

The Seminole Hard Tampa Poker Classic begins February 20th at our sister property and runs through March 6th. This first-time series gets started with a $200,000 guaranteed multi-flight event and continues into the first week with a $100,000 guaranteed prelim.

Action climaxes February 28th with the first of three starting flights in the $300,000 guaranteed, $1,650 buy-in Main Event. The two past Tampa events at this pricepoint drew 671 entries generating a prize in excess of $1,000,000 and 609 entries generating a prize pool in excess of $900,000.

Seminole Casino Coconut Creek Hosts WSOP Circuit February 7th, $1M gtd Main Event February 15th

Seminole Casino Coconut Creek and the World Series of Poker team up yet again to host a South Florida Circuit beginning February 7th and running through the 18th.

The series is kicked off by a $300,000 guaranteed opener and headlined by the $1M guaranteed Main Event. Additionally, two players from the festival will earn free entry in the season-ending Global Casino Championship.

It is just before the noon hour in the Hard Rock Event Center and poker tournament action is just moments away from kickoff. Getting Tuesday’s play started is a $570 buy-in six-max re-entry tournament. Players in this event will be jockeying for a prize pool worth a guaranteed $100,000 and they’ll take their seats to 15,000 chips. This is a one-day event structured with 30-minute levels throughout and it’s expected to conclude some time after midnight.

This new event is running alongside Day 3 of the big Ultimate Re-Entry tournament and much of our live reporting efforts will be concentrated there.
