The action is getting interesting as we draw closer to the end of Day 1B.

Matt Affleck was eliminated off the break holding vs. his opponents .  Affleck hit a six on the flop but his opponent hit his king kicker as well and Affleck will have to take another shot tomorrow.

Noah Schwartz is going the other way as he pulled in an opponent who re-raised him all-in holding nines but Schwartz was holding the pocket rockets.  Schwartz has now cleared the 100,000 chip mark.

Also on Schwartz’s table is anoher former WPT champion, Shawn Cunix. Cunix is coming off a final table at Borgata last week and tried to extend his hot streak.  A short stacked opponent went in on Cunix’s big blind and Cunix made the call.  When the cards were turned up, Cunix was in a bad spot facing down while holding .  Cunix nearly caught up getting on the flop but got no help the rest of the way losing the hand.

135 players are still alive tonight as are halfway through Level 9.
