Championship Day 1B: Jaka Burns ‘Em

$3,500 Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘n’ Roll Poker Open” Championship
Level 7: 250/500/75 Ante

With Phil Laak, Faraz Jaka and TJ Shulman going to a flop, Phil Laak said he was playing with fire but Jaka turned out to be the one holding the torch.

On a flop of Ah2c6h, Jaka bet out 2,800 with Shulman making the call and Laak getting out of the way.  The 7s hit the turn and Jaka fired out another 6,200.  Shulman raised to 20,000 putting Jaka all-in for his last 15,500 chips.  Jaka made the call and Shulman saw the bad news when Jaka showed AsKc against Shulman’s Ad9d.

The 6d came out on the river and Jaka was all smiles as he doubled up to 43,550 chips to get back into the tournament.

313 players remain alive here in Day 1B.
