We hit the first milestone of the day shortly after the break, the prize pool officially moved over $5,000,000 and it will continue to climb throughout the day.

In two rooms full of 70 tables, we found an interesting draw at Table 9 with a Tampa reunion. Our sister property ran their Tampa Poker Classic Championship the week before we kicked off the Poker Showdown schedule, it came down to a tough heads-up battle between Paul Snead and Bryce McVay, and Snead took the outright win for nearly $200K.

Among the 600+ entries today, they found themselves once again at the same table.
