David Nathaniel Jr had quite a run in our major events from the end of 2019 into 2020. Seminole Hard Rock Poker tracked our player’s performances for all Championship/Main Events and Nathaniel Jr ranked the best among them to become the 2019/2020 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year.

The shortened season had six majors and Nathaniel Jr had big runs in half of them beginning with the first stop. The 2019 Coconut Creek WSOP Circuit Main Event drew 617 entries and he finished in 10th place for $14,537 payday.

A few weeks later, Nathaniel Jr bought into the 2019 Tampa Pinktober Main Event and he went all the way this time. The $1,100 buy-in tournament drew 466 entries and Nathaniel Jr outlasted them all to collect another $93,345 while moving to the top of the POY leaderboard.

The last major on the schedule was the Tampa WSOP Circuit Main Event and a min-cash there gave Nathaniel Jr enough points to lock up the title over second-place James Calderaro.

For winning the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year honors, Nathaniel Jr earned an entry into select 2020/2021 SHRP Main Events/Championships as well hotel and dining credits.

Today during the Lucky Hearts Poker Open Championship dinner break, Director of Poker Marketing for Seminole Hard Rock and Tournament Manager Jason Heidenthal presented Nathaniel Jr with his 2019/2020 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year trophy for a job well done.

Congratulations to David and good luck in the WPT LHPO Championship!
