Event 1: No Trouble Bubble

$400 Deep Stack NLH (Re-Entry)
$100,000 Guaranteed | Structure | Payouts
Level 16: 3,000/5,000 with a 5,000 ante
Players Remaining:  95 of 767

The player count was dipping low, getting closer to the money bubble, and the buzz started. Tournament staff was alert, waiting for the field to get to 97 players to start hand-for-hand, but two quick bustouts sent the field from the pre-bubble to in the money with no sweat.

No chops, just 96 players in the money without too much to worry about. Unless you were those two players who bubbled.

Everyone locked up $620 and they can start looking towards bigger payouts throughout the day.

Event 1: Nancy Birnbaum Eliminated by Jorge Leidi

$400 Deep Stack NLH (Re-Entry)
$100,000 Guaranteed | Structure | Payouts
Level 15: 2,000/4,000 with a 4,000 ante
Players Remaining:  117 of 767

Jorge Leidi

Nancy Birnbaum moved all in for 21,000 and Jorge Leidi called to put her at risk. The three-time Hollywood champ (and three-time WSOPC ring winner) was flipping with her KhJd against Leidi’s 3c3d.

“King in the window!” Birnbaum said when the Kd appeared in the dealer’s hand.

Then the table jumped when the last two threes in the deck followed the king. Birnbaum paired her king on the Kd3h3s flop but Liedi made quads to overkill the win. The drama-free 2c turn and 8d river finished the board to send her out.

Jorge Leidi – 145,000 (36 bb)
Nancy Birnbaum – Eliminated
