It’s nice to see some of our friends from around the state coming to town for the first big guaranteed tournament of the series.

Cheri Beatty, John Pappas, and Herbert Woodbery are just three of those we found today that we usually see at events all around Florida.

Beatty’s first tournament victory came at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa during their summer series in 2015 and she final tabled a Deepstack event during their Winter Poker Open in December.

John Pappas was at the same final table with Beatty and went on to win it all for his first career tournament title. Herbert Woodbery already had a championship under his belt but added a big trophy only a few months ago. He was the last player standing in March during the Seminole Casino Immokalee Poker Challenge Main Event for a cool $51,000.
