After a flop of QhJc4d with a little more than 1.5 million already in the pot, Mihalache Cean bet 500,000 from the big blind. Lucas Mendes moved all in under the gun for 3,975,000, and Alexander Perez quickly folded on the button.

Cean asked for an exact count and went into the tank for a long time, apologizing to the rest of the table. But they gave him plenty of time to think.

Cean eventually called, and Mendes showed AdKh for ace high with a gutshot straight draw. Cean turned over KsQc for a pair of queens, and Mendes needed to improve to stay alive.

The turn card was the 5h, the river card was the 6h, and Cean won the pot with his pair of queens to eliminate Mendes in 14th place.
