As players prepare to head on a 20-minute break to color off the 1K chips, we found some people making a run after returning in the lower portion of the chip counts.
Nick Prejeant began his Day 2 in the Meeting Room with 178,000. Below the average coming back but moved into the Event Center, caught a triple, then a double, and now sits with 1,030,000.
Lebert Grinan also started his day across the hall and he had more work to do with his 24,000 sitting near the bottom of the counts. After moving into the big room, he’s sitting comfy with 487,000.
Jeremy Becker left his home in sunny Florida to move to Las Vegas and quickly took over their nightly tournament scene. He made the trip back home, and bagged a below-average 153,000 but the dangerous player is now over 800K.
