Event 10: Charles Simon Never Gives Up and Never Surrenders

$570 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 27: 25,000/50,000/5,000 Ante

Charles Simon wins the Short-Stack Survivor award today, as he’s been down to miniscule stacks several times but keeps bouncing back. According to players at his table, he’s been down below a single big blind.

He just doubled up again when he got his short stack (<3 bb) all in with Kc5h against another player’s QcJs. The board came 10c9h3s9d4s, and king high was good enough to win it. That took Simon to about 200,000 in chips.

Then Simon got it all in yet again, this time with Jd10d against the AhQs of T.J. Shulman. The board came Jc10s7s9d5d, and Simon won the pot with two pair, jacks and tens, to double up again.
