$300 + $50 No Limit Hold’em Deep Stack
We are done for the day now but on one of the last hands before breaks two of the top three in chips got it all in for a 400K+ pot. Norman Guigui had built his stack back up to over 225K after losing the two big pots mentioned earlier. The board read and there was a little more than 50K in the pot when Guigui moved all in. His opponent, Marvin Young, made the call. Norman probably thought he was in great shape with Q-T for top pair and a straight draw but he was drawing thin since Young held for top pair with a bigger kicker. The river was the giving both players trips but Young’s kicker played to give him the massive pot.
We’ll have full chip counts for the surviving players as soon as they become available.
