Viktor Lavi was the beneficiary of winning a three-way pot at the end of the night to push him into the chip lead for Day 1B.

Lavi closed out play with 348,000 chips putting him at the top of the leaderboard.  David Somers also managed put together an outstanding night bagging 301,000.  Mathew Ferrante also rode a late surge to score 289,000 which was good enough for third in the flight.  Also putting up some big numbers were Michael Lipman with 257,000, Pedro Ortiz with 218,000, Gil Jagar with 213,000 and Jermaine Gerlin with 199,000.

Overall 60 players made it through play tonight out of 325 entries. For the two flights today, 128 players have advanced out of 730 entries as we climb toward the $1,000,000 guarantee.

Players who advanced will return for Day 2 Sunday at 1 PM.
