The Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open (SHRPO) may take place in south Florida, but it attracts top poker players from around the world, like Dermot Blain of Ireland.

With more than $1.9 million in live tournament earnings, Blain is fourth on Ireland’s All-Time Money List — and two of the players above him (Andy Black and Eoghan O’Dea) received a big boost from reaching the final table of the WSOP Main Event, which accounts for more than half of their earnings.

While most of his tournament cashes have come in Europe, he’s no stranger to SHRPO — Blain has made a final table here the past two years.  Will the third time be the charm for Blain this year, to not only make a final table, but take down the title and take home a SHRPO trophy?
