After an extended period of hand-for-hand play on the Money Bubble, short stack Jon Turner folded his big blind to a raise, leaving himself with 9,100.
The next hand, action folded to Turner in the small blind, and he pot-raised to 9,000, leaving himself a single black (100) chip behind.
Joe Mobley looked at Turner’s chips from the big blind and asked, “Nine thousand, plus one chip to bluff with?”
Turner said he had a good hand, and that was “One chip to bet with.”
Mobley raised to put Turner all in, and Turner called.
The board came , and Mobley won the pot with trip aces to eliminate Turner in 14th place on the Money Bubble.
“I’ve bubbled two tournaments in a row. That’s fun,” said Turner in a that’s-not-really-fun voice.
