Despite Matt Stout’s large chip lead over the other three players, it’s been an amazing exhibition of short-handed play and one of the traits the greats of the game have – patience.

Many players would have been looking to chop or made a desparate push to double up or get out.  But Shorr, Mercier and Fish have not wavered and there has not even been a whisper about the four players chopping the event.  Even as we close in on three hours of four-handed play, Darryll Fish was joking about playing Day 1B of the Main Event since this one may not be done tonight.
