It took a little longer than expected but poker veteran Luis Santoni claimed his ninth career championship taking down Canadian Stephen Reed.
Santoni chipped away at Reed through two levels before finally finishing him off in Omaha 8.

Reed was already in trouble and it got worse on a flop. The board ran out and Santoni claimed the title and the top prize of $3,534. Reed picked up $2,020 for his runner-up finish.
