The chips are flying a little faster now that the players have returned from their first break, and the action is getting a little more interesting.
Joelle Guarino went pretty deep in the WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open that was held here in February, finishing 49th to earn $10,188. Here, she saw a three-way flop of

Joelle Guarino – Eliminated
On the other side of the tournament, David Diaz (big blind) was tangled up in a hand against Samuel Bernabeu (middle position) on a board of

. There was about 10,000 already in the pot, and Bernabeu had bet 25,000 — more than enough to put Diaz all in.
As Diaz was tanking, he remembered a previous hand where the player next to him in seat 3 doubled up thru somebody at the far side of the table. “Was that you?” he asked. No answer. Diaz says, “If that was you who doubled him up, I’d snap-call.” Diaz then addresses the dealer, “Can I do that? Can I say ‘If he doubled him up, I call?'” The dealer smiles, but ignores the request.
Diaz tanks a bit longer, cursing himself for not paying closer attention to the earlier hand, and then folds. As soon as Diaz’s cards hit the muck, Danny Suied (a.k.a. “Miami Boss”) says, “He doubled him up.” Diaz says, “Nooooo!” as the pot is shipped to Bernabeu.
Samuel Bernabeu – 56,000 (140 bb)
David Diaz – 18,000 (45 bb)
