Event 6: Down to 12 in the Seniors Event

$350 Seniors (50+) No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 14: 1,000/2,000/300 Ante

The Seniors Event is down to 12 players as they inch closer and closer to the final table.

Fred Battle was down to 1,500 after losing an all-in situation in the final hand before the dinner break. As you might expect, he didn’t last long once play resumed, busting in 14th place. (Only the top seven will finish in the money.)

Once they reached Level 14, with blinds at 1K-2K, David Reeder raised from the small blind to 5,000, Marsha Wolak reraised from the big blind to 20,000, and Reeder thought for a bit before moving all in. Wolak quickly called with 10h10c, and Reeder turned over AdJc, needing to improve to stay alive.

The board came Qc8c5c2dKs — Reeder flopped a higher flush draw, but improved no further. Wolak won the pot with her pocket tens to eliminate Reeder in 13th place.
