$560 Buy-In Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

Level 12:  Blinds 800/1,600/200 ante

Just before the end of level 11, Greg ‘Fossilman’ Raymer’s stack was crippled when his pocket 8s lost a flip against AQ.  A few hands later, he shoved his short-stack with KJ and Tom Alcorn (Bethlehem, GA) came over the top to isolate.

Tom ended up making a straight with his 8, even though he was ahead the whole way with A8.  Greg was busted, but took the time to sign a personalized fossil memento and present it to Tom before leaving.

Tom chipped up to ~125k and is enjoying a new card protector, too.  Greg will be firing bullet #3 on Saturday.
