Finale Day 2: Chino Rheem Leads Final 27

$10,000 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Finale
Level 17: 4,000/8,000 with a 1,000 ante
Players Remaining: 27 of 342

Day 2 of the $10,000 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Finale came to an end just after the re-draw with three tables remaining and it’s Chino Rheem that is leading the final 27 players.

There were 179 players that bagged from Day 1 and another 21 players late registered before the day started. Once cards got in the air at noon, registration was closed and the original field size was finalized at 342.

This generated a prizepool of $3.249 million and a first place prize of $705,885 with the top 43 finishers earning a payday. The bubble burst late in the day when Tom Thomas and Asher Conniff busted on the same hand to give the rest of the field a payday.

Eric Baldwin, Sam Soverel, Seminole Hard Rock Poker Team member Faraz Jaka, Cate Hall and Matt Berkey were among the players who were eliminated before the day’s end, but finished in the money.

Soverel and Hall are both still in the $3,500 Main Event that resumes on Wednesday with 10 players remaining.

The remaining 27 players are all guaranteed a cash of at least $23,865 and will come back on Tuesday at noon to play down to the final six players before bagging up for the night.
