For his efforts, he was entered in a random drawing and was selected as a $500 promotional ticket winner. He used his ticket in Saturday’s Finale satellite and parlayed it into a seat in the prestigious event.

Benjamin, meanwhile, played in a $125 step satellite in the poker room and scored a $1,050 seat in a Finale mega. He leveraged that seat into a $10,000 berth and now finds himself on Day 2 of the season-ending tournament. A little math tells us the pair ponied up $20,000 worth of buy-ins via only a $125 and five-minute investments.

Benjamin, who owns 145,000 chips, retains his lead over German who’s chipped up to 125,000. The pair has their work cut out for them as they face off against the likes of Eric Baldwin and Ant Zinno at their starting table.
