Jason Young took the lead in February after he won the 2019 WPTDeepStacks Hollywood Main Event and solidified his advantage a few weeks later with a third-place finish in the February Coconut Creek WSOP Circuit Main Event.

Several players had a chance to catch him in the last event with Chad Eveslage closing the gap with his sixth-place finish in the WPT Poker Showdown Championship. Eveslage ran deep in the SHRPO Championship but fell short of the points and Young locked up SHRP Player of the Year honors.

For that feat, Young earned a prize package with an estimated value at $25,000 and includes the following:

  • Entry in 2019/2020 Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood Main Events/Championships
  • Entry in 2019/2020 Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Main Events/Championships
  • Entry in 2019/2020 Seminole Casino Coconut Creek Main Events/Championships
  • Entry in 2020 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Championship
  • Hotel and dining credits at Seminole properties

Congratulations Jason, we look forward to seeing you all year long.
