In a three way all in preflop Peter Mancini had pocket kings against Mathieu Selides’s AsJh and David Levi’s AhQh.

The board ran out Ks9s10c3d5d and Mancini’s kings held to knock out both of his opponents.

They had nearly identical stacks, 134,000 versus 133,000, with Levi covering Selides by a single 1,000 chip to get the pay jump.

Tom Gity open-shoved for 410,000 from under the gun and it made it around to Ofer Peleg in the cutoff. He called, the rest of the table folded, and it was off to the races.

It was the biggest buy-in on the 2018 Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open schedule and the players turned out early and often. Late in Level 5, the $5,000 buy-in eight-handed event cracked 53 entries busting the tournament’s $250,000 guarantee. As is, the field sits at 54 entries with a $256,500 prize pool. Registration and re-entry is available all the way until 6:10pm and the number will only grow between now and then.

After doubling through Aleksandr Gofman in an earlier hand Kurt Lichtman moved all in for around 80,000 with Ah7c and got called by Jd3c.

The board ran out Kc6h2dJs9s and Gofman spiked a jack on the turn to eliminate Lichtman .

On a final board reading JsJc2sJh9h with around 200,000 in the pot Pablo Mariz moved all in for  225,000 effective.

Action is on Frank Logodich who went into the tank for a few minutes. After a lengthy consideration Logodich called all in.

Mariz flipped over AdAc for the winning full house to eliminate Logodich in twelfth place.

The popular Purple Chip Bounty tournament drew 153 entries to easily surpass the $100,000 Guarantee between the regular and bounty prize pools. Of those 153, only 12 were able to survive the day and return today at 2pm to play it out.

Aleksandr Gofman returns with a massive chip lead, his 627,000 well ahead of Michael Stashin’s 357,000. Four-time WSOP bracelet winner Brian Hastings, former SHRP champ David Levi, and local regular Daniel Pearlman are also in contention as the play for the $41,120 top prize.
