Level 9 is kicked off and registration is closed in Event 18 of the Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open, a $360 buy-in Seniors tournament. A total of 122 South Florida seniors turned out for the one-day event. The prize pool hit $36,600 and is slated to pay the to pay the top 16 finishers. A min-cash earns $714 while the tournament’s champion earns $10,615 and the property’s token guitar pick trophy.

We are closing out the RRPO series with a nice low buy-in, big prize pool tournament with six starting flights and Flight E kicks off at 3pm. Event 15 has a $150 buy-in tournament with a $100,000 Guarantee and six total flights.

Event 15 entrants sit down to 15,000 starting stacks and all tournament levels last 30 minutes. Late registration is open until the start of Level 8 at 7pm with unlimited re-entries available. Flight E will come to an end after Level 14 and those with chips will return on Wednesday for Day 2.

Jim Gilbert opened to 125,000 from the cutoff and Pavel Plesuv three-bet to 400,000 from the button. James Rann in the small blind thought it out, used a time chip, and four-bet to 1,100,000. Gilbert folded and Plesuv moved all in for 4,405,000.

Rann cut out some chips, used another time chip, and called for 3,775,000 total.
