Just the tail end of a pot here, but one worth a mention.

There was just over 100,000 in the middle after the river of an AcKh9dKdTc board. Loni Harwood was first to act in middle position, and she bet 56,000. Curt Kohlberg moved all in for 149,500 on the button, and Harwood called to put him at risk.

Kohlberg showed 9s9c to win the pot with nines full. He doubled up.

Harwood’s QhJc was exposed as she paid off the debt.

Zachary Donovan (left) and Scott Wright (right)

Three players were involved in what would become a substantial pot after a TsTc7c flop.

Zachary Donovan checked from the big blind, and Scott Wright bet 30,000 under the gun. Scott Chastain called from a couple seats over, and Donovan check-raised all in for 42,500 total. Wright wanted to re-shove, but the betting was not reopened for him to do so. He called, and Chastain did so, too.

The turn was the 3c, and Wright moved all in for 97,000 effective. Chastain called all in for that amount, putting himself at risk, too.

Donovan: QhTh
Wright: AdTd
Chastain: QcJc

Chastain had turned a flush, and he needed to fade both opponents’ draws to their full houses.

The river was the blank Jd, though, and Chastain won the pot with the nut flush.

Donovan was eliminated in 115th place, putting the field on the direct money bubble. Only 114 of them will earn a payout.

Scott Chastain – 280,000 (56 bb)
Scott Wright – 75,000 (15 bb)
Zachary Donovan – Eliminated

Action folded around to the blinds where Cangir Elcin moved all in for what looked like 54,500 in the small. Tyler Patterson called in the big to put him at risk.

Elcin: KsJh
Patterson: 4d4c

The Kc5h3c flop was a good catch for Elcin, giving him the lead with two to come. It wouldn’t hold, though. The 2h turn and 6c completed the board, and Patterson ran down a six-high flush to win the pot.

Elcin was eliminated, putting the field two from the money with 116 players remaining.

Tyler Patterson – 235,000 (47 bb)
Cangir Elcin – Eliminated
