$3,500 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship
Level 23: 10,000/20,000/3,000 Ante
Faraz Jaka was in the midst of writing a great comeback story but he came up short. Earlier he was down to one big blind before the bubble on Day 2 but built it back over 400,000 to safely slide into the money. Jaka had another drop to five big blinds before rebounding to bag 431,000 by the end of the night.
His final hand came when Mohsin Charania open shoved for 395,000 and Jaka had just 30,000 behind in the small blind. He called with against Charania’s and needed help.
The did nothing to improve his situation but he added an open-ended straight draw on the turn. No love for the Jaka-comeback story when on the river to send the popular out in 52nd.
Got knocked out of @shrpo #SHRPO Main event in 52nd QQ > AK for 850k pot. Cashed for $13.5k …relax for a few days then @WPT $15k borgata
