After a couple of fast eliminations off the break including Matt Stout picking off an opponent and adding to his stack, the pace has slowed down.  A lot of the friendly banter has gone away and the tournament area is eeriely quiet as we close on in going down to three tables and the money bubble at 20 players.

Play continues here in Event 14 as we just moved to Level 14 with Stout, Darryll Fish, Carter Gill, Yigal Hen, Steven Bennett, Pasquale Caiazza and Barry Hutter among those players remaining.

Event 14: You Can’t Make This Up, Folks

$570 Eight Handed No Limit Hold’em (Single Re-Entry)
Level 12: 600/1,200/200 Ante

Table 26 is one player away from breaking with 33 players remaining but there’s another fun seat just waiting for someone.

The table right next to these guys has a row of Barry Hutter, Aaron Massey and Zo Karim followed by an open seat.

As a side note, a suggestion to change the breaking order and leave Table 26 intact was met by numerous groans and a couple of obscene gestures.  So we’ll leave the order intact, thanks.

Event 14: Seat Filled

$570 Eight Handed No Limit Hold’em (Single Re-Entry)
Level 12: 600/1,200/200 Ante

That open seat on Table 26 just got filled.  And boy, did it ever.

Poker superstar and the man behind the Charity Series of Poker, Matt Stout, fell right into the lion’s den.  So now the line up is Dolan, Gill, Stout and Fish plus Bluff Magazine’s Tim Fiorvanti in the following seat.  And now following an elimination, Joe Kuether is there as well in an unbelievable stroke of luck.

Fortunately or unfortunately depending on your point of view, it is the next table to break. So unless these gentlemen beat each other up, they’ll be released back in the field soon.  But for now, there should be some outstanding poker at this star-studded table.

Event 14: Seat Open…

$570 Eight Handed No Limit Hold’em (Single Re-Entry)
Level 11: 500/1,000/100 Ante

As we close in on the final five tables of Event 14, someone is not going to be very happy when the next table breaks.

A nice comfy chair is ready for someone to be moved into with John Dolan and Carter Gill to the left and Darryll Fish to the right.  Best of luck to whomever gets that seat card.
