Garcia Chipping Up

Blinds: 75/150

Picking up the action after the river of an AsJc7h2s3d board, Cord Garcia bet 1,950 from the big blind. His opponent in early position raised to 4,500, sending Garcia into the tank for a little while before he called. The early-position player showed AcQs for top pair, but Garcia tabled 7c3c for two pair to take down the pot and increase his stack to about 37,000.

Noah Schwartz Eliminated

Noah Schwartz hit the rail in an unfortunate way here on Day 1B at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open. He held A-10, and the hand was looking good to win a big pot on a board that held a ten ad three bricks, but his opponent held K-9 and spiked a king on the river to take the hand and eliminate Schwartz, who might be back for Day 1C at 7 p.m.
