Event 3: Grumpy Old Men

$200 + $40 Omaha Eight or Better

Blinds: 500/1K – Limits: 1K/2k

The mood is getting testy here in Event 3 at Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘n’ Roll Poker Open”. The floor person just had to step in and give warnings to two players who were bickering and berating one another. “Keep it up guys and you’ll both be taking a break,” she said. The two are quiet for now.

There are 19 players remaining meaning we are one away from being down to two tables.

Event 4 Update

$260 +$40 No Limit Hold’em

Blinds: 100/200

We’re up to 110 players in Event 4 with about 15 minutes left before Level 4 ends. Players can register for this event through the break so there is about 30 minutes left on that end. A couple players who might be re-entering just busted. One held K-9 on a K-6-2 board and got it all in against a player who had K-6. The other held Jacks that lost a race to A-K. Fortunately for them if they want to, they can get right back in the action.

Event 3: Three Tables Left

$200 + $40 Omaha Eight or Better

Blinds: 400/800 – Limits: 800/1.6k

The final three tables were formed not with a bang, but a sigh. The 8-seat was blinded down and seemed more interested in a getting a massage than doubling up. Neither happened and the entire field is now in their own little corner.

We will start looking for a chipleader now that we inch towards the final table and the six lucky players who will cash.
