RRPO Championship on the Horizon

We are one week into the Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood and it’s just about time to roll out the Championship Event. We’ve had some big winners so far, including Francois Zayas walking away with six figures, and we are set to kick off the biggest game on the schedule.

The $3,500 buy-in Championship features a $2 Million Guarantee, a strong structure, and a live-stream televised final table on Poker Night in America. The tournament has two starting days with all survivors gathering as one on Sunday afternoon.

This is the seventh running of the RRPO Championship and we have crowned very talented players in the past including Matt Waxman, Victor Figueroa, Chris Bolek, and Jacob Bazeley. Patrick Mahoney, last year’s champion, nearly missed the tournament and was one of the latest entries into the Championship. He conquered a tough final table in front of the PNIA camera to walk away with $564,227.

RRPO Champions:

2011: Farhan Madhani
2012: Victor Figueroa
2013: Matt Waxman
2014: Chris Bolek
2015: Jacob Bazeley
2016: Patrick Mahoney

Some of the top poker players in the world will make their way to South Florida for one of the biggest tournaments on the yearly schedule. They look forward to a great place to relax between the holidays along with a chance to bank nearly a half of a million dollars.

While other people are elbowing their way for discounted merchandise at the store on Black Friday, our players will be entering the ballroom at noon for a shot at the RRPO Championship. We expect to witness some great poker all week while until we crown our next RRPO Champion on November 29th.
