Matthew Wantman emerged victorious Tuesday night at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood winning Event 24 of the 2018 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open, a $2,650 buy-in Pot Limit Omaha tournament. Wantman beat up a tough final table and earned $70,009 in addition to a Seminole Hard Rock Trophy.

Event 24 drew 91 total entries generating a prize pool in excess of $220,000. The top 12 were paid and notables Jeff Madsen, Matt Stout, Phil Hui and Ben Yu were among those to finish in the money.

The 26th and final event of the 2018 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open was a one-day, $300 buy-in Deep Stack Turbo re-entry. True to form, the event finished in just about eight hours and it was Gavin O’Rourke of Northern Ireland who emerged victorious in an outright win. For the performance, O’Rourke earned $10,349 along with his second career major victory.

Event 26 drew 147 entries generating a total prize pool worth $37,485. The top 19 finished in the money with Adam Levy, Vincent Cami and Matt Axelrod among the notable in-the-money finishers.

Two checks saw Ji bet 24,000 and both his opponents called. The trio then checked the 5d  turn and the 3c completed the board on the river.
