Ido Ashkenazi

We continue to see a great turnout and more players are joining Flight A now that we are into the afternoon hours. The 217 entries so far puts it on pace to top the opening flight from a year ago.

We found some former SHRP champions in the field including Paul Domb (two titles) and Ido Ashkenazi (one title) both looking to add some hardware.

Frankie Flowers

There are a few characters in the poker world and Frankie Flowers is certainly one of them. A player who you know is in the field when you hear him before you see him. Always having a good time while trying to run up a stack.

This time around his appearance was a little different. We don’t often see Flowers in the morning hours but today he was in his seat well before cards went into the air.

Flowers is looking to earn his second career SHRP title, another trophy to go along with his 2016 Poker Showdown $350 NLH win.
