Manual Rivera

John Magnetta opened to 100,000 and our Anonymous player called from the hijack. Manual Rivera raised to 250,000 from the button to get a fold from the blind and Magnetta. Anonymous called to the JdJc2c flop and checked. Rivera moved all in for ~700,000 and Anonymous quickly called without asking for a count.

Anonymous: KhJh
Rivera: 9d9h

Rivera was in trouble against trip jacks and couldn’t find a miracle on the 3c turn or 5d river to exit in 14th place.

Short-stacked Andres Morales didn’t last another hand and was gone on Rivera’s tail.

Anonymous – 4,400,000 (110 bb)
Manual Rivera – Eliminated in 14th place ($8,939)

Event 1: Hobart Roberts – 15th Place ($8,939)

Table 79 stayed active and it was Hobart Roberts making moves right after John Miller was eliminated. Our Anonymous player opened to 100,000 from the button and Hobart Roberts moved all in from the big blind for 615,000. Anonymous counted out the 100K chpis to call and put them in the middle

Roberts: KcTc
Anonymous: KhQh

Roberts was dominated and never had a sweat on the all-low 8h5s2h3h7s board.

Anonymous – 3,200,000 (80 bb)
Hobart Roberts – Eliminated in 15th place ($8,939)

Event 1: John Miller – 16th Place ($7,637)

Level 27: 20,000/40,000 with a 5,000 ante
Players Remaining: 15 of 1,612

In a three-way pot, John Miller moved all in for 455,000 from the big blind after our Anonymous player checked the small and Andres Morales called the shoved. Our Anonymous player then moved all in with a check-raise for 1,015,000 to make Morales think about it. After a short think, he called for the three-way all in.

Miller: KsKc
Morales: 5c5d
Anonymous: 3d3h

The set of the were ahead but had to dodge the open-ended straight draw/over pair plus the monster kings. The 4c turn and 2s river finished the board to send Miller out, put Morales on the short stack, and built our Anonymous player up among the big stacks.

Anonymous – 2,600,000 (65 bb)
Andres Morales – 350,000 (9 bb)
John Miller – Eliminated in 16th place ($7,637)

Yassa: 8d3d
Glendenning: KhTh

Glendenning was in trouble against Yassa’s trips and couldn’t find a save on the Qs turn or 5h river to exit in 17th place.

On one of the first hands after the redraw, Julio Ruiz dropped in 18th place.

Nagui Yassa – 1,900,000 (63 bb)

Players Remaining: 18 of 1,612

Derek Bowers

There was an early open to 60,000 and Nagui Yassa called from the button. Derek Bowers shoved from the small blind to get one fold then a call from Yassa.

Bowers: 6s6d
Yassa: KcJc

Bowers was ahead but it was Yassa hitting the AsJh5d flop. The 8h turn was a blank and the Ad river sent the pot to Yassa. After counting down Yassa’s stack, his 495,000 was only 30,000 more than Bowers.

He found a quickly double up but was gone a few hands later in 19th place.

Nagui Yassa – 1,100,000 (37 bb)
Derek Bowers – Eliminated in 19th place ($6,142)

Russell Sullivan

The pace slowed a bit as the stacks deepened but then we had a spurt of activity.

The biggest hand saw WSOP Circuit ring winner Russell Sullivan call a 150,000 three-bet from Andres Morales to see the 6d4d4s flop. Morales continued for another 125,000 from the small blind, Sullivan called, and the turn came 7c.

Morales slowed down, checked, and Sullivan moved all in for ~600,000. Morales quickly called with a similar stack and big hand.

Morales: AdAs
Sullivan: JdTd

Morales was ahead with the rockets and needed to dodge the diamonds to send Sullivan out. The 6c river changed nothing and Sullivan was eliminate in 25th place.
